Who we are

About Altamonte Springs 24/7 Plumbing

We are an Altamonte Springs-based plumbing service built around one idea: when a pipe fails, a person should answer the phone, whatever the hour.

What we do

We handle emergency and planned plumbing for homes and small commercial properties in Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Maitland, Casselberry, Winter Springs and Lake Mary. That includes leak detection, drain cleaning, water heater repair and the other services listed on our services page.

Our office is at 377 Maitland Avenue in Altamonte Springs. The phone line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How a call becomes a repair

A dispatcher takes your call at any hour and asks what you see: where the water is, whether the main is off, whether anyone is at risk. That conversation decides the order of work. Active leaks and sewage backups go first, and planned installs fit around them.

The technician who arrives explains what they found before picking up a tool. You hear the cause, the options and the price for each, in plain words. Nothing starts until you agree to the price, and if the job changes once a wall or floor is open, you hear about it before more work is done.

How we work

  • We explain the problem and the options in plain words.
  • We state a clear price before work starts, so you decide before money is spent.
  • We offer same-day appointments when available.
  • We are licensed and insured, and you can check any Florida plumbing contractor license at myfloridalicense.com.
  • We tell you when a problem is not ours to fix, such as a city sewer main or a gas line leak.

The kinds of jobs we take

Most of our calls fall into a handful of jobs. Water where it should not be leads to burst pipe repair or leak detection. Drains that will not clear lead to drain cleaning and, for stubborn mains, sewer line cleaning. Cold showers lead to water heater repair or replacement.

Planned work is welcome too. Homeowners call to add a fixture, replace an aging water heater before it fails or swap corroded supply lines, and property managers call for after-hours coverage on apartment buildings and small commercial spaces. The full list is on the services page.

The standards behind the work

Florida plumbing work follows the Florida Building Code, Plumbing, which is based on the International Plumbing Code. Where a job needs a permit, it goes through the local building department, and inspectors check the finished work against that code.

We cite those standards because they are public and you can read them yourself. We do not claim awards, rankings or review scores on this site. The claims we make are ones you can check: the phone line is open around the clock, the price is stated before work starts, and the license can be looked up on the state's site.

What we do not do

We do not handle gas leaks as plumbers first. If you smell gas, leave the building, call 911 and then your gas company. We do not repair city mains, which belong to the City of Altamonte Springs. And we will not push a replacement when a repair is sound.

Plumbing codes in Florida follow the Florida Building Code, Plumbing, which is based on the International Plumbing Code. Work that needs a permit is handled through the local building department. If a job looks bigger than the first call suggested, the technician says so before work continues, and you decide whether to go ahead.

Where we work

We dispatch inside Altamonte Springs and to Longwood, Maitland, Casselberry, Winter Springs and Lake Mary. Each town has its own page with the ZIP codes served, such as Longwood and Casselberry, because each has its own water system, housing mix and storm history.

Altamonte Springs is the base for the business, and the city is the utility for water, sewer and reclaimed water in town. That matters for repairs: a leak before the meter or a sewer main in the street is the city's to fix, and everything on your side belongs to you. We tell you which side a problem is on.
